Ceremony and Ritual – Naturistic Shamanic Tradition – our perspective

Posted on November 4, 2021

“The shamanic way is to open to spirit, to engage with spirit, to fill with spirit, to connect and commune with spirit. In that way, people become bigger than they are, they become more, they can become better.”

In our tradition, we don’t want to keep ourselves or others in a box, and this is one of the reasons why we don’t really like ceremony and ritual, because it keeps them in “that can’t happen unless you do this.” Our tradition encourages people to use intention as the energy to work through the gardening of the self, spirit and universe.

“I create this space to process my intention.”

The Shamanic Tradition does not belong to anybody. It’s not an institution, it’s not a religion, it’s a way of life and anyone can choose to live that way of life. Anyone. You don’t need ritual and you don’t need ceremony to live a shamanic existence, you need reverence, you need respect and understanding, you need knowledge of your environment.

Superstition is linked to dogma/religions. Organised religions are full of superstition and most of it is based on cultural norms, not spiritual reality.
